25 Positive Affirmations You Can Use and How To Use Them.

“It doesn’t work.” These were words I used to mumble to myself when I would say an affirmation once and didn’t believe it.

After that, I didn’t use affirmations for a while. Fast forward to the beginning of this year and affirmations have reappeared in my life.

I don’t want to say that there’s a right way and wrong way to use affirmations but if you want to harness the power of affirmations, here are my suggestions:

WRITE IT DOWN – make it a daily ritual to write down your affirmation and not just once. Depending on your day and the length of your affirmation, you could write it down between 25 to 100 times. As you are writing your affirmation, you will begin to affirm it as the words flow on the page.

REPETITION IS KEY – as much as I’d like to do one sit-up and have nice toned abs, it simply will not happen. The same theory applies with mindset work. You need to put in the work. Make a commitment to yourself to go to the mind gym each day or as many times per week as you can. I typically use the same affirmation for 30 days before I feel it to be true and for it to become affirmed in my mind. It may take less or longer for you – affirm until you believe it to be true.

WRITE IT IN PRESENT TENSE – the most powerful affirmations are those which are written in the present tense. We can’t change our past and if we are affirming for a thought, feeling or action to occur in the future, then where will that leave us in the present? By affirming in the present tense, you can begin to change how you feel in this moment which will then shift the future thoughts.

MAKE IT BELIEVABLE FOR YOU – an affirmation will work to the point that it’s believable for you. If starting an affirmation with I AM doesn’t feel true for you right now, change it to “I Am Willing to Believe” and then once you begin to shift your thoughts, you can then change the statement back to I AM.

I am willing to believe that money can be received and given with ease.
